Honors and Awards

Award 1

Project title: Implementation of Deep Learning Radio Signal Classifiers with Over-the-Air Adversarial Attacks Resiliency

During my employment at UH, I proposed a novel idea to secure wireless communications against adversarial attacks using a generative adversarial network (GAN). Following the selection, together with our team, we brought my proposed idea to reality: We implemented the GAN-based defense scheme on USRP-SDR platforms to protect the AI-enabled receiver against adversarial attacks. In addition to this award, we have published the resulting paper in the top-tier IEEE GLOBECOM conference.

Award 2

During my employment at WPI, one of the outcomes of the SoilX project, a paper titled "Data-Driven Soil Water Content Estimation Using SFCW GPR" has been accepted at the IEEE ORSS 2023 conference and honored with the Best Paper Award.

Honor: U.S. Green Card via National Interest Waiver (NIW)

In May 2023, I was honored to receive the U.S. Green Card through the National Interest Waiver (NIW). This distinction is reserved for individuals whose professional contributions are recognized as having substantial benefits for the U.S. This acknowledgment underscores my contribution in the fields of applied machine learning, wireless communications, and RF/Microwave Remote Sensing.
